Adventure continues

Everyday is a new day and it is exciting to awaken and expect to be surprised as to how the day will unfold. Our friends Laurie and Jim, called and invited us to join them out to the countryside to visit another couple Bard and Brenda whom we  know  as well The adventure begins with a 45 minute $.50 bus ride to their house. I must tell you about this house. I have been anxious to visit, as I have heard about their living situation. We met Bard and Brenda with-in three days of arriving in Cuenca. We were all looking for a place to live. Bard and Brenda are horse people from Florida. He a retired deputy sheriff, she a process server. They believed they would find a  large home with barns and property where they could purchase horses to ride and their dog could run all over in the pastures. Dream on I thought to myself. Well they did and did find their dream house. Owner wanted $700/month. "Too much" says Bard. How about $600/month. "OK"says Bard. Then the owner says "Can you feed my two horses". "Ok" says Brenda, who is really the horse person in the family. "Great "says the owner, I will take another $100 off the monthly rental and I will leave my furnishings in the home. Their dream home with horses everywhere around them with riding privileges. They don't even have to purchase any horses. They have died and gone to heaven.
So today is the day for us to visit
